Samsung Transform Ultra Review

Boost Mobiles Samsung Transform Ultra is The “Real” Deal

The Samsung Transform Ultra from Boost Mobile has impressed many no-contract critics so far. Boost launched the Transform Ultra on October 7th, 2011.

Remember to check out the ZTE Warp from Boost Mobile, if you haven’t already.

Boost Mobile is proving you do not need anything more beefier than a 1 GHz Android Gingerbread. Smartphone devices, are not impressive with battery life after you move past 1GHz point.

The Samsung Transform Ultra is amazingly quick and I can say any current Boost Mobile customers who upgrade their phones will have no issues with the speed. With phones approaching faster and faster speeds, Boost Mobile has struck the right balance with this touchscreen phone.

Texting with your Samsung Transform Ultra

Using the on-screen keyboard to enter text on your phone, the Transform Ultra will switch automatically to portrait/landscape mode. If you have used SWYPE before, then texting on this should be a breeze for you to handle.

If you want to play it a bit more safe, the Samsung Transform Ultra does feature a nicely sized QWERTY style keyboard. This may be useful in the unfortunate event your screen stops being responsive when using the display keyboards. Personally, I am a bit torn between the two, as I love typing on keyboards and find I am still a bit faster actually pushing the buttons.

This Android from Boost Mobile dissapoints few people, some have questioned the ability for the phone to be upgraded to future version of Googles Android Gingerbread, check here for a start.

Pricing for the Samsung Transform Ultra

Many people choose to stick with their carrier, even if there is a better deal currently out there. This may have something to do with a break-up fee, should you choose to leave early, or just being content with their plan as is. Good news for those who are switching, you won’t deal with that mess at Boost.

Price is without a doubt the ultimate factor when it comes to deciding the phone you are to use for the next year or so. As of December 6, 2011 the current price is $199.

What makes the Samsung Transform Ultra a great choice?

If you are just getting into touchscreen Androids, you will find that most of the competition carries some kind of penalty when it comes to data usage. What could possibly be better, than a smooth functioning Android, running on Google 2.3 Gingerbread, at this price! It really is a toss up between the Ultra and ZTE Warp, however it comes down to personal features.
